Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
Did You Know That Your Child Could Be Receiving Bulk-Billed Dental Care From Macquarie Dentists?
Under the Government’s Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), eligible children aged 2–17 may receive up to $1,158 in Medicare benefits over two calendar years for basic dental treatments. Covered services may include dental examinations, X-rays, professional cleans, fissure sealing, fillings, root canal treatment, and extractions.
Families receiving government payments such as Family Tax Benefit Part A may qualify. Please check your child’s eligibility with Medicare and let our team know before treatment commences if you would like services provided under the CDBS scheme. If you are unsure, feel free to call our friendly staff to find out if your child may be eligible.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable; however, if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please provide us with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Unfortunately, if you do not notify us or if you fail to attend an appointment, a $50 cancellation fee for the time will be charged. Often we become fully booked and a missed or cancelled appointment may not be able to rescheduled for many weeks and this may affect your dental health. Each appointment is reserved just for you, and we truly appreciate your understanding and communication if you’re unable to attend. Thank you for being part of our community!
